Our Story

Chingu Coffee Co. is a locally-owned coffee roaster and cafe brought to you by Chingu Collective. "Chingu" means "friend" in Korean, and friendship is woven through all aspects of our company—from coffee farmers, to importers, to our staff, and to our guests.

We want to create a space where our guests feel valued as friends. With every cup we hope you feel our warm hospitality, intentionality in our products, and the love we put into roasting and brewing to get the final product to you.

Our cafe space will be opening spring 2023 in the West Plaza neighborhood in Kansas City, MO . We can’t wait to host you in our space and share our coffee, tea, and Korean-inspired pastries and breakfast with you.
